Boise Foothills Engagement Session | Journey & Deqlin

I had the perfect spot in mind for this session. The Foothills in Boise! The only problem was, it was a “mini” hike. But away we went anyways. Halfway up the hill, Journey tells me, “I have asthma.” Crap! I didn’t know if we should keep going or head down? We kept going. And guess what? She made it!! Poor thing. I wouldn’t have made them go to the top of the Boise foothills if I had known. But it was gorgeous and, they rocked it!

Journey and Deqlin met at their first job in High school. They’ve been together for five years and can’t wait to celebrate their winter wonderland wedding next year! It was fitting that Deqlin proposed a couple of weeks before Christmas! Even though it was so freezing for their engagement session, It surprisingly looked warm in the latter half of the session.

With so much hiking Deqlin got to treat Journey like a princess as he helped her take off and put on her shoes as we moved all over the place. He even crouched down and held a twig for me that was blowing all over the place while I was trying to get a few ring shots. For the picture!! I can’t wait for their wedding next November!
