Logan Utah First Look | Sydney & Landon

When I (McKenna) went on my church mission to Alaska, my family still lived in Utah. Part way through my mission they moved to the middle of nowhere, Malad Idaho. This is where Sydney met her husband Landon. 

Sydney met Landon when she went to a youth church activity. Landon said that the first time he saw Sid he had the weirdest feeling that she was going to be really special to him one day. Isn’t that so cute!  

Sydney, on the other hand, thought Landon was a creep and continued to think that for the next 3 months of knowing him. Little did she know he would be her first cuddle, and kiss. 

Landon’s persistence won Sydney in the end, it only took many years to convince her! However it didn’t take as long for her to say Yes, when he proposed in the dark, with a plastic ring, at 2 in the morning in front of our dog, Poppy’s grave! 

Maybe it doesn’t sound super romantic, but a month later Landon surprised Sydney by proposing again with an actual ring while they were on a date in an escape room. The last “clue” of the escape room had the ring inside it! Super creative! 

Their first look session was one of my favorites! Not only was her bouquet my favorite color palette I’ve ever worked with, but her red lipstick paired with his bright blue suit just made all the “pop” come to life! The overall fill was flirty, romantic, and fun!
